A painter turned ceramic artist, rooted in the tribal art traditions of central India.
I grew up in Bishrampur, Chhattisgarh — surrounded by Godna art, wall paintings, and the ornamental traditions of tribal India. That world is what my hands return to every time I sit at the wheel.
At Earthique, I teach the way I learned — slowly, with care, one piece at a time. Whether you've never touched clay or you're refining your craft, I want this studio to feel like a place where you can breathe and create.
“Ceramic is a kind of art therapy. It makes everything slow — and in a city that doesn't allow slowness, that is exactly why I come to it.”
— Chitralekha
